Monitors

Standing watchers that create Agent Updates when external signals change or cross thresholds.

Monitors are for alerts, not weekly narratives. Use automations for regular reports. Monitors fire when something changes: chart position, social metric, venue listing, and similar sources.

Set up a monitor

  1. Tell Maestro what signal matters and what threshold counts as news.
  2. Provide concrete identifiers (URLs, artist IDs, venue pages) when asked.
  3. Review the planned monitor before it goes live.

When monitors fire

Updates appear on Home and in Activity. They do not spam you on a schedule unless the underlying signal keeps changing.

Monitors need supported data sources. Maestro will say when a request needs a specific link or identifier you have not provided yet.
